Roles and Responsibilities
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Administration
- Oracle Database Administration
- Testing operating system patches and upgrades
- Deploying applications releases/patches to servers
- Shell scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Documenting support processes
- Creating how-to guides and WIKI pages
- Contributing and supporting ISO 27001/SOC processes
- Logging issues and following through to resolution
- Suggesting solutions to Technology team that will simplify the support process
- Investigating and resolving issues safely and in a timely manner
Skills and Specifications
The following skills and specifications are required in a candidate:
- BEng/Masters in Computing or Sciences (70%+)
Other Requirements
- Can work as part of a shift pattern
- Pro-active approach to issue resolution
